A cutaway view is a type of illustration that shows the internal components of an object by removing a portion of its exterior. In the case of this 3D pump cutaway view, the internal components of this pump could be seen in a photorealistic way in three dimensions.
Some of the parts that could be seen here but are mentioned in Spanish in the images, are:
- the impeller, which creates a flow of fluid when it moves. It is a rotating component that is shaped like a fan and is responsible for creating the flow of fluid. As the impeller rotates, it draws fluid into the pump and then pushes it out through the discharge port,
- the impeller shaft, which is responsible for rotating the impeller when the pump is connected to an electric motor,

- the mechanical seal is a critical component that prevents fluid from leaking out of the pump. The mechanical seal is located at the point where the impeller shaft exits the casing and is designed to create a tight seal between the rotating and stationary parts of the pump.
